Dear Fellow Instagrammer,
It all started as an overtired stay-at-home mom of infant twins, holding down the fort during a deployment, trying to hold it all together, and desperately needing an outlet! So I decided to combine my former career as an educator with my current chaos and start a blog...and grow an Instagram page to support the business venture.
On Instagram I didn't know what to do, how to do it, and I certainly wasn't growing as fast as I thought I would! In that first year I learned mostly what NOT to do!
Every time I thought I was "getting it," something changed and I reached a whole new level of frustration with my account: Why did I stop growing? Why was my reach so low? Why was my engagement down?
I decided I needed to get SERIOUS about my Instagram strategy and started studying all of the "gurus" I could find. I followed all sorts of social media marketers, observed their content and read their captions ande comments...watched hundreds of YouTube videos...read blogs...listened to marketing books...and consulted with people who were seeing success!
While what I was finding for FREE was invaluable, it didn't really solve my biggest problem: how do I actually create and maintain a content strategy? How do I organize my piles of sticky notes? Which notebook had my collection of hashtags and brainstorms?
FRUSTRATED and sick of searching for it in the abyss of the internet, I decided to take everything I learned and make the tool I NEEDED to grow my Instagram account, and in turn, my business!
